Mood by OMMU + Bill Saylor
Mood channels new ideas into skateboarding. Skater owned and operated. Mood’s goal is to maintain skateboarding’s independence while adding to it’s creative relevance.
For them, skateboarding embodies the need to evolve, ourselves and our surroundings. Its a language that shapes our interaction with the world, defining who we are and guiding what we do.
Mood collaborates with independent artists, designers, skateboarders and people with good ideas. They work with the very best in their respective industries to promote the very best in the skateboarding industry.
Bill Saylor has been showing his work in NYC since the early 90s, he exhibits around the globe and is no stranger to collaboration. In 2011 he created a book with Harmony Korine called Ho Bags, published by the Journal Gallery. Ho Bags is filled with rich layered drawings that each artist worked into.
The board Bill created for Mood is inspired by a BING surfboard he owned when he was younger. Thinking back to the colors and loose form, Bill injects some recurring imagery and unmistakable energy.
Thank you Mood & Bill Saylor & everyone involved, we’re really happy to work with you!
